ACCOUNT DELETION

This Account Deletion Policy explains how viewers and content owners can delete their Ìtàgé account, what happens after a valid request is submitted, and which records may still be retained for legal, security, tax, payment, and anti-fraud purposes.
1. WHO CAN REQUEST DELETION
Registered users may request deletion of their own account.
- Viewer accounts may be deleted after identity verification.
- Content owner accounts may be deleted after identity verification and account review.
- We may refuse requests submitted by anyone who is not the account holder or legally authorized representative.
2. HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
You can delete your account directly from the current account settings experience:
- Viewer accounts: open the viewer mobile app profile screen and use Delete Account.
- Owner accounts: open the owner mobile app or owner web settings page and use Delete Account.
- You must confirm the action with your current password.
- If two-factor authentication is enabled, you must also enter the current 6-digit authenticator code.

For support-assisted deletion, we may still ask for enough information to confirm ownership of the account:
- Full name on the account
- Registered email address or phone number
- Whether the account is a viewer or content owner account
- Any additional information that helps us locate the account
3. REVIEW AND PROCESSING
- When the self-serve checks pass, deletion is processed immediately after confirmation.
- We may ask for additional verification before finalizing support-assisted deletion requests.
- Deletion may be blocked if the account still has wallet balance, unresolved payment issues, fraud review, dispute review, or a legal obligation that prevents immediate removal.
- Owner account deletion may also be blocked until pending or approved withdrawal requests are fully resolved.
- Once deletion is completed, access to the account is disabled and active sessions are revoked.
Most in-product deletions complete during the same session. Support-assisted requests may take longer when further verification or compliance checks are required.
4. WHAT WILL BE REMOVED
After approval, we may delete or permanently anonymize non-essential account data such as:
- Profile information
- Login credentials and active sessions
- Stored phone number and date of birth
- Two-factor authentication secrets and security settings
- Saved preferences and non-essential account settings
- Support records that no longer need to be retained
5. WHAT WE MAY RETAIN
We may retain certain information where reasonably necessary or legally required, including:
- Wallet, payment, rental, transaction, and payout records
- Tax, accounting, and financial reporting records
- Fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, security, and audit logs
- Records needed to resolve disputes, chargebacks, or regulatory requests
6. EFFECT OF ACCOUNT DELETION
- Deleted accounts may not be recoverable.
- You are signed out immediately after deletion.
- Access to rentals, watch history, and saved account preferences may be lost.
- Content owners may lose access to uploaded content, earnings views, and analytics dashboards.
- Owner movie catalog items may be disabled as part of the deletion flow.
- Open obligations or unresolved compliance reviews may prevent immediate deletion.
